Why an indie wedding band

If your idea of a perfect wedding is arms round shoulders, shouting the chorus of Don't Look Back in Anger with everyone you love, you've found your band.
We're a 3-piece that plays the 90s and 00s indie anthems only. No filler, no cheesy pop medleys. Just the songs your guests know every word to, from Oasis, Pulp and Blur to Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Kings of Leon and The Strokes, plus modern heroes like Sam Fender.
Together since 2005, we know how to read a room and build a wedding night: easing in while your guests settle, then turning up the energy until the dancefloor is rammed. We put our own stamp on every song while keeping everything that made the originals great, so it feels nostalgic and fresh at the same time.

If your song isn't in our repertoire, we'll aim to learn it, as long as it suits a 3-piece. If it's not one we can do justice live, we'll tell you as soon as possible and play it through the PA instead.

The dancefloor doesn't lie.
Out of all our wedding decisions, booking Outside In was our easiest! A great live set in the evening and a perfectly chilled set at our drinks reception. We loved the set lists and had so many compliments from our guests.
Outside In's performance at our wedding was phenomenal! The music selection was excellent, and the order of the set kept the crowd going with never a dull moment. They adapted on the fly to the bride's requests and learned the first dance song just for us.

We're based around Peterborough and play weddings right across the East of England and the East Midlands. We travel all over the UK too, and we've performed across Europe, so wherever you're getting married, just ask.

How long do you play for at a wedding?
Two live sets of 45 to 60 minutes each. We'll time them around your speeches, food and cake cutting, so just tell us your plans and we'll fit around them.
Will you learn our first dance?
We'll always do our best. If your first dance isn't already in our repertoire, we'll aim to learn it for you, as long as it's within our style and ability as a 3-piece. We can't promise every song, but if it's not one we can do justice live, we'll let you know as soon as possible and play it through the PA as part of our DJ service instead. Either way, you'll get your moment.
Can we choose the songs?
We've got a core set we love to play, built from the anthems in our repertoire. Send us any songs you definitely want, or definitely don't, and we'll do our best to make it happen.
Can you play the drinks reception?
Yes. We offer a chilled, stripped-back set while your guests mingle after the ceremony. It's an optional extra, so mention it when you request a quote.
Do you bring your own PA and lighting?
We do, and we're fully insured with PAT-tested kit. We can send certificates to your venue on request.
